Welcome! This website is a showcase of my work, activities, and interests. I often share it as a landing page for more information about these things, and it hosts most of my creations that I feel deserve some kind of place online.
Originally and habitually a Michigander, I now live and work in Washington, D.C. Until recently, I got paid to support research programs on energy storage and hydropower at the U.S. Department of Energy. Ideally, my future will include work in power grid analytics, energy project development, energy storage innovation, and related policy engagement. You can check out my LinkedIn profile for more details on my work and education history, and connect with me there for any day job typed conversations.
My training includes a B.S. in Biological Physics at Georgetown University and an M.S. in Civil Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley with a focus on energy systems. You can see my favorite research papers, reports, presentations, and projects on the Academic page.
This website largely features work I’ve done outside my day job. While my day jobs are mostly pushing (virtual) paper, my Projects page shows the process and results of a few hands-on projects (in both physical and digital realms). Activities includes narrations and thoughts on a few notable activities that don’t fit neatly in other categories, such as volunteering and short-term hobbies. Check out some old writing (largely first and second drafts) in Fiction.
Lately, making music is my main outlet (and use of nonbillable waking hours). Songs, socials, and all artist content you’ll wish you had known about before it was cool can be found on Linktree. Excited to hear what you think!
